"Reflections of the Past"

The fish market in Tokyo is the largest in the world. Japan consumes 1/18th of the world's fish, and one-third of that passes through this market!

These last pictures are from the Ueno Zoo. The zoo was founded in 1892 and is a lot larger than it first seems. The spider was not actually an exhibit, but it was so HUGE hanging in it's web, that I had to take a photo of it. The picture does not begin to give a proper perception of its massive size.

And the groundhogs I just needed a picture of because, well, um... Because I was born on February 2nd. And that is of course Ground Hogs Day here in the US...
